The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has met with hundreds of APC supporters in both open and closed-door sessions as he continues his scheduled one week visit to his hom State Zamfara.

According to reports, another APC group from Zamfara State's neighbouring states, as part of the Minister of State for Defence Visit, paid the Honourable Minister a visit to express their gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's renewed hope agenda, particularly with regard to security issues that is currently impacting the Northwest positively.

According to Lawali Sakaba Wasagu Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State, "we would want to express our thanks to the President for fulfilling 80 percent of his campaign pledges to our region. With God's help, 2027 would be a landslide for our wonderful party, the APC.

"Our brave Nigerian army have made great progress in my area, Kankara Local Government Area, Katsina State, where they have neutralised uncountable bandit kingpins and their foots soldiers something we firmly felt was impossible but has now become a reality, said Mamuda Garba Kankara.

The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle, responded by thanking the three representatives of the States and promising to convey their gratitude to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as soon as he returned to Abuja.On Monday, Matawalle is scheduled to depart Zamfara State for Abuja in order to attend another engagement.
