More than 3,000 victims of Zamfara State internally displaced persons who suffered from bandits mayhems in their Villages and ran to the State Capital Gusau Zamfara State for shelter, complains that apart from abandoning them by the State government of governor Dauda Lawal, it has now reached to a point that they had to go out every blessed day to beg for alms to pay the sum of # 100 per person to some designated primary and secondary schools in the State Capital before they were allow to sleep on the floor.
An internally displaced person Malam Adamu Gurbin Bore who is presently taking shelter in Gusau with his wife and four children informed Zamfaranewsletters correspondent in Gusau that, " The life is terrible here added that some time he had to go out begging for food to feed his pregnant wife and kids and still had to pay #100 to the security guards in charge of the School where they are taking shelter before they were were allow to pass a night"
" We are more than 3,000 internally displaced persons hanging in the State Capital Gusau, and up till this time that I am speaking with you, we have not receive any form of assistance from the State government to ease the starvation we found ourselves in, " 75 years old woman from Magami a district under Gusau Local government narrated"
Deep investigations further reveals that, even last week 16 women had their pregnancy miscarriaged as the results of lack of medical facilities in all the internally displaced persons camps while about 20 children died last two months as the result of malnutrition.
Malama Hauwa whose bandits kidnapped and killed her husband and two children appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led admiinistration to in name of Allah come to their aids since governor Dauda Lawal is not aware of their presence as his starved guests who are in dear need of accomodations, Food, and proper Health care facilities.
" We were shocked when we listened to governor Dauda in the BBC Hausa service saying that he scored himself 75 percent Marks for handling insecurity in Zamfara State, " Laraba Aliyu from Tsafe Local government who spent 5 moths sleeping in one of the uncompleted building in Gusau lamented.
