Zamfara: "Gusau government House Council of Ulama's not necessary , says Mustapha Jafar Kaura.

The Special Adviser on Media to the Zamfara State governor Dauda Lawal has shed more light on the controversial Council of Ulama's building  located in Zamfara State government House, he further criticized and condemned in strong term for those questioning  the closure of  the building that is meant for Islamic Scholars research point.

" I would like the general public to note that, the government House anywhere in Nigeria is naturally build to Accommodate the governor official resident, his office  and conference Halls and not for religious activities or research as speculated in various media outlet , "Jafar said.

" We have the Ministry for Religious affairs and so many research centres  in the State where any one can visit to conduct any research of his or her choice but not in the government House where His Excellency is officially resides  to perform State activities.

Malam Jafar revealed this during  a press statement he granted in Gusau where he was asked numerous questions about the total shutdown of the newly constructed Council of Ulama's  by the previous administrations which is to serve as a research centre for Islamic Scholars in the State and beyond.
