EXPOSED: AS COURT ORDERS RETURN OF IMPOUNDED EX- ZAMFARA GOV'S VEHICLES, 7 HAVE ALREADY BEEN SOLD IN KANO.

 


As the Federal High Court Gusau ordered all those involved in the illegal invasion and breakage of former Zamfara  Gov's residences in Gusau and Maradun and removal of vehicles and personal effects of the former Governor within 48 hours, a discreet investigation into the matter reveals that 7 vehicles among the vehicles impounded have already been sold in Kano.

A reliable source told this online newspaper that the sold vehicles comprised Hilux and Jeeps, and were sold by the DC Ops, DC CID, AC Ops, AC CID and CSO( Police) Government house, Zamfara State who have just been transferred out of the State with immediate effect.

The source disclosed that the vehicles also included those impounded by the above police officers from some of the immediate past commissioners and other officers who served under Matawalle's administration. 


The source said the vehicles were moved from Gusau to Kano through Funtua where the vehicles were hidden at Mai Ruwa Dam two days before they evacuated to Kano where they were sold.

The source who pleaded anonymous also revealed that all the vehicles were sold at under valued prices.


The police officers who were involved in the illegal invasion of Gov. Bello Matawalle's residences were said to have nearly engaged in  physical combat while sharing the money. 


Our source however said the officers are now raising money to retrieve the sold vehicles desperately following the court order and theirs transfers.
