Reps Member absconds upon receiving invitation from EFCC

 

House of Representatives member representing Tsafe/Gusau Federal constituency in Zamfara state, Hon. Kabiru Mai Palace is on the run. 

The honourable is said to have been in hiding since he was elected to represent his people four years ago.

Upon enquiries, some of his colleagues, in the yellow chamber, notably, the Clark of the National Assembly was reported to have received no fewer than 15  corruption petitions against Hon. Mai Palace, bothering on 419 complaints, which it seems made to lawmaker to be dodging his colleagues and activities in the yellow chamber. This much was confirmed by a snippets we got from the house.

It was also gathered  that, the law maker has been using the Honourable speaker's name as part of his 419 tricks to defraud the general public  by receiving gratifications with the promise to secure lucrative contracts for them.

"That's what has made the lawmaker to possibly abscond from House meetings and deliberations, because according to information available to us, EFCC has been tracking him for arrest", said one of his colleagues in the house.

"As part of his constituency project, Hon. Mai Palace defrauded and bankrolled a Kaduna based car dealer which resulted to Antigraft Agencies declaring him wanted.

Malam Usman Tsafe said that, " the only thing he empowers our people with is his continuous absence and hiding from people in his constituency and we are  waiting for him for re- election time few weeks to come, because we can not afford to have non trustworthy person to represent us again.

"It has been on so many Media reports that our honorable member Mai Palace has jump Court bail and has been declared wanted by EFCC to answer many fraudulent charges against him including his failure to settle about 20 Million Naira to a Kaduna based car dealer which is alledged that he shared to his girlfriends!" Added an angry Malam Usman Tsafe.
