ZAMFARA POLITICS: HOW INEC OFFICIALS COLLECTED N30M FROM CANDIDATE TO MANIPULATE PROCESS IN THE SCHEDULED PDP RE-RUN PRIMARIES.

Merely 13 hours to the scheduled PDP governorship re-run primaries in Zamfara state, 4 Zamafara INEC HODs were seen at the residence of Dauda Lawal Dare, one of the candidates contesting in the re-run primaries about taking place any moment from the time of this publication, loading huge sums of money believed to be N30m.
Our source said the money which was given to the INEC officials at the early hours of Friday (2:45 am) on the 23rd of September, 2022 is to facilitate the emergence of Dr Dauda Lawal Dare as the PDP governorship candidate whose nomination was nullified last week by a Federal High Court in Gusau, Zamfara state capital for irregularities. According to our source " 4 HODs of Zamfara INEC went to Dare's residence on the instruction of his brother Abdulaziz Sani Lawal Dare SAN, at legal Department of the Independent National Electoral Commission's Headquarters, Abuja. " I saw three of the HODs loading the money contained in some green sacks into a Peugeot 406 car at exactly 2:45 am. While one of them pretended to be the driver of the car." The eyewitness further revealed that one Amina Baffa of Zamfara INEC is also working with the 4 HODs, but cleverly refused to follow them to the candidate's residence to collect the money. The source said " even at the time the HODs were taking the money, the Resident Electoral Commissioner had to call them quarrelling them for going to the candidate's residence which he said was against the ethics of the electoral umpire." Investigation further revealed that the National Headquarters of the INEC has not sent any officials to Zamfara to monitor the re-run, but locally organised by Dauda Lawal Dare's younger brother Abdullaziz Sani Lawal Dare, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN with INEC national Headquarters. Our investigations also revealed that the Zamfara INEC had never been given instruction from the Headquarters to monitor the schedule re-run process, but the 5 Zamfara INEC officials working with the Dare's brother decided privately involved themselves in the re-run process. According to the information gathered Abdulaziz Dare ordered the official in Zamfara to ensure transmitting the result as soon it is compiled, instead of the 24 hours mandatory period before transmitting any election results, provided provided by the electoral law. At visit to the venue of the re-run which is Command Guest Hotel in Gusau along Kaura Namoda Road was also seen agog of People, many of the political thugs with dangerous weapons collecting money and hard drugs from the PDP officials to harass and intimidate who ever refused to give his vote to Dauda Lawal Dare, an Ex- Banker and closed ally to Dizani Aliaon Maduekwe an embattled corrupt former Nigerian petroleum minister. Reports say almost all the delegates were bought over the the Ex-banker. Other candidates have been yearning and calling on the National Headquarters of INEC to stop what they described as Kangaroo re- run and warned Abdulaziz Dauda Lawal Dare a senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN working with INEC to desist from tampering with the electoral provisions for fairness and justice.
