A Notorious bandits’ leader who now repented from committing the heinous act, has revealed how a Federal Commissioner with the National Population Commission NPC has been massively recruiting new bandits into the deadly business in Zamfara state.
The federal commissioner who was a one time Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs during the immediate past administration of former Gov Yari of Zamfara State, Hon. MUTTAKA RINI was said to have received large sums of money from yet to be confirmed sources, is now massively recruiting new bandits across some local government areas of the state.
According to the repentant bandits’ leader, the recruitment exercise began with 40 young men from the 8500 sacked ‘Yansakai recruited during Yari’s regime to engage bandits in the 17 emirate councils in the state.
He said it was among those he recruited from the yansakai that abducted the Provost of College of Agriculture and Animal Sciences Bakura, later carried out the abduction of Yarkofoji kidnapped victims and then that of Gora Namaye village in Maradun local government area.
The repentant bandits’ leader said his heart was touched to make the shocking revelations after he noted how the federal commissioner was massively recruiting fresh bandits, including some of those who repented.
Babuga Jauro popularly known as the (the Killer) revealed this to a Gusau based investigative Journalist Munir Maikasuwa Shortly after the release of College of Agriculture and Animal Sciences Bakura Students who were abducted a week ago.
” Until the needful is done by the various security agencies, the MUTTAKA RINI I know when I was an active member before I embrace Peace, and the roles he is playing in the several kidnapping activities in Zamfara State, will make a serious damage to the peace efforts of the government. ” Babuga revealed.
Recalled that Zamfara State government is using some of the repentant bandits as spy agents and in intelligence gathering to crush those who refused to embrace Peace.
He also alleged that MUTTAKA RINI was reported to have Mastermined the kidnapping of 83 innocent people of Rini Village, his home village, in Bakura Local government area of Zamfara state.
The repentant bandits’ leader also mentioned one Sani Gwamna Mayanci as one of Rini’s collaborators and a member of the federal commissioner ‘s syndicate in the dastardly act of brutality in Zanfara state.
Mayanchi was one time snapped hanging an AK47 rifles on his shoulder while having good time with bandits in their camp in the state.
It may also be recalled that Sani Gwamna Mayanchi was once detained by security agencies for over a year, after he was accused of having link with the bandits.
