GOV. BELLO MATAWALLE OF ZAMFARA STATE CONFERS WITH THE CHIEFTAINCY TITLE OF (SHETTIMA OF DAULA USUMANIYYA), BY HIS EMINENCE THE SULTAN OF SOKOTO TODAY

His Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto Alh. Sa'ad Abubakar III described Governor Bello Muhammad matawalle of Zamfara state as a true worthy son of the caliphate who deserve to be celebrated by the descendants of Al Shiekh  Usman Bin Fodio of  blessed memory.

The Sultan made this known today Saturday 13 march 2021 in his Sokoto palace immediately after he  officially conferred the  the chieftaincy title of (Shettiman Daular Usmaniyya) to the Maradun born politician  in the presence of His long term friends, and well wisher, His Excellency Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal the executive Governor of sokoto and his deputy respectively.

Among those  in attendance were captains of industries, PDP families from all  over  the 36 states of the federation, and some Zamfara state APC families loyal to present administration and many others.

In his response, Governor Bello Muhammad matawalle thanked the sultanate for the honor done to him, adding that he will as from today be in close contact with the Sultanate as the case may be. Governor Matawalle also urged all the good people of Nigeria to continue to pray for the return of permanent peace in the Country.
