At a recent high-profile gathering in Abuja, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar publicly expressed his support for the governorship ambition of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Musa Yusuf Garba, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
During the event, AIG Musa Yusuf Garba formally declared his interest in contesting for the governorship position in Zamfara State under the platform of the ADC.
