Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has finally vows to pressure and reportedly set to follow Katsina State governor His Excellency governor Dikko Radda footsteps peace deal with bandits kingpins terrorizing Zamfara State Zamfara newsletters learnt.
Insiders at the Zamfara State Ministry for security exposed the secret last meeting which governor Dauda Lawal held with the State Executive councils before he proceed on two weeks break, added that, the center of the meeting was how to reach out to some selected bandits kingpins to seal a permanent deal with their loyalists to let the thousands of internally displaced persons roaming the streets of Zamfara State to go back to their respective deserted villages.
In the memo presented to governor Dauda Lawal by the State Honourable commissioner for security captain Mairiga retired, suggested that, "The the controversial pardoned convicts Musa Kamarawa, Malam Murtala Assada, and the outspoken Kano based famous woman politician Hajiya Naja'atu Mohammed should in the company of Kamarawa reach out to notably bandits kingpins Dogo Gide, Ado Aleiro, and Bello Turji to plead with them to lay down their arms for peace to stabilize in part of Zamfara, Katsina and Sokoto State.
Base on the information reliably gathered, the sum of N550,000,000, were set aside for the project to kick start without the concent of the Federal government just like what Katsina State did sometime last two months.
As reported, after the proposed reconciliation submission to governor which he Alledgedly approved, the Honourable commissioner for security captain Mairiga retired was not happy for sidelining him to participate in the project but was calm down by Mr. Yandi the State commissioner for Local government and Chieftaincy affairs appealing with him to allow the external famous people to handle the project.
