"We need live changing project not Mosque renovation, Maradun local government Youths tells governor Dauda Lawal.

Arguments broke out between the representatives of Zamfara State governor Dauda Lawal and the contractor assigned to build Maradun Mosque by the Honourable Minister of Defence His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle over the same project.

It was gathered that, Maradun local government Youths and the contractor sent by the Zamfara State government clash onsite after noticing on who to continue with the project considering the fact that, the  Honourable Minister had two months ago assigned team of engineers with available  10,000 blocks with two trailers of 35mm rodes already on the clash  project site.

The contractor sent by Matawalle to handle the project  said that, "The Honourable Minister had already mobilized me to continue with the project, added that, the only thing he's waiting for now is the final  Mosque approved design from Kaduna State based building engineer Which according to him will soon arrive Maradun this week for the work to continue ".

Zamfara State government representatives who came to snatch the project from the Honourable Minister Bello Mohammed Matawalle were said to left project site shamelessly after the Youths told them that, Maradun local government doesn't need  Mosque project from Zamfara State government rather the State government should choose any development project to execute considering the sum of N700 Millions Maradun local government received from the Federation Account Monthly.
