Amid of Cholera pandemic outbreak in Zamfara State, the immediate past governor of Zamfara State and now the Defence Minister at the Ministry of Defence His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle has donated Multimillions Naira drugs to 14 local government areas of Zamfara State to treat thousands of people currently suffering from the pandemic.
The Honourable Minister gesture comes following the State government neglect to declear emergency on the pandemic which has since claimed hundreds of lives.
It was reported that, the pandemic is as the result of lack of portable drinking Water Zamfara Citizens are experiencing for the last Seven Months under administration of governor Dauda Lawal.
"We sincerely thank the Honourable Minister quick intervention for providing drugs to 14 local government and Medical expert to tackle this terrible pandemic." Said Aminu Lawali an internally displaced person from Gusau who lost two of his Children three days ago as the result of Cholera.
Recall that, All the Nurses of Zamfara State who are working with General Hospitals and PHC's Centers had gone on an indefinite Strike as the result of poor wage.
