Let me refer my readers to some beautiful political quotations, as well as biblical words to enable them grasp the idea of what I want them to understand lying politicians. To start with Nikita Khrushchev, the former Prime Minister of the Soviet Union who once said and I quote,
"If the people believe there’s an imaginary river out there, you don’t tell them there’s no river there. You build an imaginary bridge over the imaginary river”.
Secondly, Stewart Stafford, the author of the vorbing and a great scholar in the history of lying politicians, who said and quote:
“You can tell a politician is lying when they claim they want fairness for all. They're part of and represent an unfair elite who will never share their wealth, power or opportunities with the underclass.”
Accordingly, in the biblical words and opinion, as contained in Timothy Chapter 4:3, it was stated and I quote. "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate four themselves teachers to suit their own passions."
The article "THE RISE AND FALL OF PDP DECIETFULL RESCUE MISSION IN ZAMFARA" is intended to examine how Gov Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state used or rather took the advantage of security concerns in Zamfara state to do his election campaign in their strategy, the Gov and campaign team deceitfully lured the innocent and vulnerable people of the state to elect the Gov. When Gov Lawal was campaigning for the seat of governor of Zamfara state, he was desperate to win the election even as he had no clue what to offer to the people, so much that he promised what was not feasible to realise, especially within the two weeks he promised the people. He therefore ventured into the campaign promise that he would finish up the war against the bandits within a blink of few weeks, accusing the then Gov Bello Matawalle.
It is now two years of the PDP government of Dauda Lawal without any solutions in sight regarding the elimination of bandits terrorising the innocent people of Zamfara state. The security situation of the state became worsened, if not for the intervention of the Federal government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Launching a special military operation which aimed at eradicating the bandits. To bury his shame, Lawal launched campaign of columny and Media trials against his predecessor Bello Matawalle. However, now that the people realised and understood the deceitful maneuvers they were subjected to while the campaign trail was at its highest level of lying, they have now turned against the deceitful team of Dauda Lawal and Co. The people have now been protesting against the members of the PDP government. The Gov was severely booed by his hitherto supporters, calling him names while passing through Tsafe, as people now realised he deciet them and left them in a serious security concern. This type of protests are happened to the Gov 3 times while passing through Tsafe local government area. The Deputy Gov was also greeted with similar protest when he visited his hometown of Bukuyum for lack of security.
Recently, the Member representing Shinkafi / Zurmi Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives was booed by members of his constituency with antagonistic and angry slogans, chanting " Bamayi, Bamayi, Bamayi" meaning "to hail with you We don't want you anymore."
I The member of the House of Representatives Hon Bello Moriki led Dauda to Zurmi during the campaign deciet with a promise to win the war against Bandits in that area. However, Zurmi is now a centre of security concerns.
This is what is happening all over Zamfara as the Gov and his team visit any of the towns and villages, people booed them chanting all sorts of abusive language and throwing stones at them.
The people of Zamfara, especially those who voted Dauda Lawal as Gov of the state are seriously regretting their actions and vehemently protesting against him and his allies.
We should therefore be careful and mindful of people who lie and deceive the masses for their own selfish interests.
