The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle has distributed over 100 cows to members of All Progressives Congress APC in Zamfara State to celebrate Sallah with ease and happiness.
The cows were distributed today by the APC State Chairman Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani who was represented by the Secretary of the party, Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima in Gusau.
The Minister said the gesture is part of his usual Ramadan fast support to APC members in Zamfara State and other less privileged people with food, meat and clothes for them to celebrate the Sallah in a more happier mood.
The Minister further said that supporting people during Ramadan is part of the teachings of the noble Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam which every Muslim needs to emulate.
He solicited for continued prayers to the gallant troops that are currently taking the fights to bandits enclaves and recording huge successes.
He assured that the Ministry of Defence will ensure that it execute the President's directives of restoring peace to the region.
Responding on behalf of the party, the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau thanked the minister for the gesture and assured that all the identified beneficiaries will be given their own as directed.
The party is honoured and promised to continue to work hard for success at all levels.
