I WILL NEVER BE A THREAT TO MY POLITICAL BOSES – the Author has gotten it wrong.

I read with carefulness and sincere concern a publication by the managing editor of an online media outlet ‘The Thunder Blowers’ titled HOW ZANNAN BUNGUDU WILL CONSTITUTE A POLITICAL THREAT TO MINISTER MATAWALLE which according to him was the continuation of his analysis on Zamfara APC under Minister Matawalle and Power Permutations for 2027.

Actually the author of the story has said his mind and he is very free to do so going by the rules of media job, press freedom and right to expression of one’s opinion.

However, while trying to enjoy all the rights mentioned, the publisher went ahead and insert some clauses capable of injuring the hard-established peace among APC leaders in the State. Senator Abdul’Aziz Yari and Minister Bello Matawalle. Both leaders are instrumental to all the successes I have recorded in life.

Let me take the points highlighted by the publisher one after the other.

I must confess that I had a very good relationship with the Minister of State for Defence Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun. He has been a political mentor to me.

Our relationship started right from 2007/2008 when I was the State NULGE Chairman when he visited me in my residence in Bungudu town.

Since then, we built a sound relationship that turn out to be like a blood brothers. Some of what we have been doing with Minister Matawalle need not to be mention out public.

The Author also mentioned that in 2015, during my contest with late Sani Ibrahim Ruwan Doruwa, I refused to listen to the Party leaders or government of that time as they try to stop me from the contest.

Actually, it is not like that, when I contested the 2015 election, I was independent then and so I was not under any of the State political leaders that asked me to reverse my decision.

On the 2023 election that yielded my victory and subsequent wins against the pre-election litigation instituted by Matawalle and Yarima Boys as the publisher of the analysis nick-named them; I must confess that Minister Matawalle was solidly behind my successes right from the lower to the Apex court. He gave the ticket to my Boss (Yari) and asked party executives to vote for me during the primaries and without spending a dime from my side. I have been uttering this statement in almost all our political gatherings.

For what I have been doing in terms of assisting humanities and supporting party faithful that are even beyond my political boundary.

I think anybody who knows me have known that such attitudes have been in me since childhood and it became my hobby. I gave out when I have something.

The only thing that stops me from granting people request is when I lack something that one requested.

My support to people in the State which the publisher of the analysis used to predict our fate for 2027 election, I must refute him because whoever knows what transpired during the 2023 general election knows that APC lost almost all the seats especially in Zamfara Central and some parts of the state, the situation that necessitated me to extend my support and add to what Minister Matawalle and Senator Yari are doing towards the well being of people of the State.

The Author of Analysis kept emphasizing on 2027 election and directly linked me to the race, I must re-affirm that no place in either political or personal engagement that I mentioned or uttered any intention to contest for Governorship seat of Zamfara State.

I challenged the public space to highlight or come out with where I made such utterances.

To make the record straight in this case, Minister Matawalle and Senator Abdul’aziz Yari are to decide for what I will be in 2027 and I have no regret making this statement.

On the final note, I am of the opinion that the Author of this article has either got it wrong or acting on the script of some people within and outside, who are bent on creating “A Political War Theatre” in our Party, APC in the build up to what he ascribed to as 2027 permutations, for a repeat of what happened in 2019 in our dear Party and I say God forbid, amin.
