Following bandits kingpin Dogo Gide threat to Stop Zamfara State farmers to participate in this year farming season, Report from Zamfara State have it that , the Zamfara State government under the directive of the State governor His Excellency Dauda Lawal have initiated and ordered a peace accord meeting with one of the dreaded bandit kingpin popularly known as Dogo Gide to pave a way for famers to fully participate in this year farming activities in the State.
A source at the Zamfara State government House Gusau who declined to mention his Name due to the sensitivity of the development, confirmed that ," Mr Dogo Gide along with his foots soldiers arrived the State on Friday the 10th of May 2024 and were ushered straight in to one of the presidential lodge by Honourable the Commissioners for Budget Hon.Abdul.Malik Gajam where the state government protocols officers were sighted preferring Ram meat and some Assorted drinks to the bandits kingpin and his excorts numbering 15 in number.
The report furthered reveals that, Dogo Gide and his lieutenants were not carrying any dangerous weapons at the time of their arrival in the government House, but the ADC to the governor ordered all the security personnels attached to the area to vacate the the the 19 Northern governors lodge, where they were stationed to provide security" the report stated.
Recalled that Zamfara State is seriously suffering with daily bandits attacks and the Executive governor of the State Dauda Lawal vows not have any dialogue with the criminals launching attacks to the innocents citizens of the State.
