Hon Minister of Defence and his counterpart Hon Beta Edu alongside other Service Chiefs pay Plateau a condolence visit.


The Honorable Minister of State for Defense, along with his Humanitarian Minister counterpart Beta Edu and service chiefs, visited the plateau state to offer their condolences to the victims of the terrible attack in the Bokkos Local Government Area of the State by some ruthless criminals and enemies of peace.











The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, His Excellency Bello Mohammed Matawalle, led delegations from the federal government to Yakubu Gowon Airport. There, they met with the state governor, His Excellency Barrister Caleb Mutfwan, at Little Rayfield Government House. The delegations then proceeded to affected areas for assessments and condolence visits, with the Minister speaking on behalf of the president and commander in chief, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.



"No matter how highly placed the person or group of people are, there is no moral justification to take someone's life," the statement continued. "Mr. President was traumatized when his attention was called upon, which is why we are here, and he has directed the security agencies to take the necessary action by arresting whoever is fingered to be involved in the recent killings of innocents armless victims." stated the Minister of Defence



The Defence Minister was quoted as saying, "His Excellency Mr. President valued every Nigerian life and is deeply pained, which is why I am here with all the service Chiefs to come up with new Strategies to get rid of insecurity in plateau and Nigeria as whole," as he reassured during his condolence visit to the state.
