Gov. Dauda Lawal Spent 30 Billion Naira On Purchase of Vehicles, Says he will not go to Supreme Court to appeal the recent Judgment that terminated his Mach 18th Govership election Victory.



Massive looting of Zamfara State government treasury is reported to be ongoing, as Gov Dauda Lawal says he would not approach the Supreme Court to appeal the recent judgment of the Court of Appeal which declared inconclusive,  the march 18th Govership election when PDP was declared winner by the independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.


Reports have  emerged from the  State Ministry for Local  government, as well as the Ministry of Finance that the Cour of Appeal sacked Zamfara  governor Dauda Lawal Dare has ordered for the withdrawal of 30 billion Naira to purchase Prado SUV Vehicles 

for each of the 18  Commissioners in the state.

Gov Dauda Lawal also ordered for the purchase of brand new 2023 Toyota Hilux to bw given to the commissioners as their official Vehicles.


In the same development, it was also gathered that , governor Dauda Lawal had paid to himself the sum of 4 billion Naira for the supplied of crude fertilizer made up if sand and chemicals he supplied  to the state government 

 during the previous administration of Bello Muhammed Matawalle. 


It was gathered that Dauda Lawal Dare supplied the crude fertilizer filled up with sands and Cow drops that, but the former governor of the State Bello Muhammed Matawalle vehemently rejected describing it,  "as total cheating to the state known with slogan of( Farming is our pride).


" I am seriously confused and afraid because I have paid all the ongoing roads projects going on in Gusau Metropolis through my ministry allegedly linked to His Excellency governor Dauda despite his refusal for allowing me to follow procurement acts and financial regulations, " the Honourable commissioner for Finance lamented.


Recall that, on his assumption in office as the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal promised Zamfara citizens that he will work hard to rescue the the state from banditry and to provide enabling environment for investors to invest in the State.

You may recall that Gov Dauda Lawal told that world that he inherited nothing from the previous administration of Bello Muhammed Matawalle and went into confiscation of the former Gov's Vehicles and those of his cabinet members.
