GOV.BELLO MATAWALLE SECURED (N6B) FOR CONSTRUCTION OF GREEN ECONOMIC CITY IN GUSAU.

The Commissioner for Commerce and industry, Yazeed Shehu Danfulani has declared that, Governor Bello Matawalle has secured the sum of N6b for the construction of a green economic city in Gusau.

Yazid Shehu who stated this during the distribution of allocation letter for the construction of shops to over (1,000) members of Zamfara business communities in Gusau on Friday.

He stated further that, Matawallen Maradun since his inception as Governor had been working tirelessly to enhance the well-being of the Business communities.

“Matawalle through the Chamber of Commerce has sponsored some selected business persons to go to some countries, especially the Republic of Turkey and United Arab Emirate to study their business outfits and also brought some comparative business ideas that will help the growth and development of businesses in Zamfara State”.

“The executive Governor had also visited CBN to secure grants for the development of small and medium enterprises tagged Covid-19 which over ten thousand persons benefited and more would benefit”.

He also lauded the Governor for his commitment toward completing the airport project which he said would help in boosting business activities within Gusau the capital city and beyond.

He also announced that the administration has secured a sustainable plan to develop the Dry Inland Port in Zamfara State so that movement of goods can be enhanced without necessarily waiting to go through Lagos and other places.

He urged the people of Zamfara State, especially business communities, to continue to support the Matawalle administration with a view to strengthening business development
