Zamfara Government Warn Residents Over Consumption Of Grains Preserved With Chemicals




Residents of Zamfara State have been advised to always be careful of what they eat and how they prepared their food before consumption.


The advice was given today by the State Commissioner of Information, Hon. Ibrahim Magaji Dosara (Kakakin Maradun) while condoling a family that lost seven of its members after consuming food made out of grains suspected to be poisonous in Danbaza Village of Dosara District in Maradun Local Government.


Hon. Dosara said, "peoples should always verified to ensure that the food they planned to prepared does not contain any insecticides or chemicals that are harmful to human with a view to ensuring safety of their lives."


He described the death of seven members of the same family as tragedy and prayed Allah (SWT) to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdausi and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.


Responding on behalf of the family, Malam Hassan Danbaza said he lost two of his wives, three children and two grandchildren in the incident. 


He however, thanked the Commissioner for the condolence visit and prayed for journey mercy for the Commissioner and the members of his entourage. 


The Commissioner also paid a condolence visit to the family of Magajin Garin Danbaza, Alh, Sani Mai Wanki Hula who died recently.


Similarly, Hon. Dosara paid another condolence visits in Dosara village over the death of the mother of Sarkin Pawan Dosara (Hajiya Amina) popularly known as Dogori on Tuesday 16/08/2022 as well as the family of Malam Bako Muhammad Dosara who also lost his child (Abdulmumini Bako) at the early hours of Wednesday 17/08/2022 and prayed Allah (SWT) to grant the deceased Aljanna Firdausi and the families the fortitude to bear the loss.
