EXPOSED: YARI FACTION OF ZAMFARA APC CAUGHT WITH PARTY CONGRESS MATERIALS SCHEDULES FOR SATURDAY THIS WEEK.


Officials of the former Governor of Zamfara, Abdulazi Abubakar Yari’s faction of the All Progressives Congress APC in the state have been intercepted at the party’s national headquarters with large quantities of Congress materials meant for the conduct of it’s Congress scheduled to take place throughout the federation on Saturday this week.

An investigation conducted by this medium showed that the action of Yari faction followed the Federal High Court decision last week and today Wednesday, to adjourn its siting on a case brought before it by the Yari faction of the APC in Zamfara state, seeking the court to declare the action of the Chairman of the Party’s Caretaker and National convention planning Committee and the Gov of Yobe state Mai Mala Buni, illegal, null and void, as well desolve the state Senator Hassan Nasiha’s led caretaker committee of the party in the state illegal.

Following the action of the Yari faction of the party, the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja yesterday issued an official statement that the APC Congresses in Zamfara state have been postponed till after the conduct of the party’s revalidation exercise its membership in the state.

The investigation also found that the Yari faction of the party is collaborating with the Deputy Governor of the state Mahdi Aliyu and the PDP in this regard to destabilise the party in the state.

The investigation also revealed that the Yari faction decided to use the Deputy Governor and PDP to destabilise APC in Zamfara state following Senator Kabiru Marafa’s decision to withdraw from the gang up plan to destabilise the APC.

Sen Marafa who said he regretted putting Zamfara state politics and people into the current political turmoil which diverted the attention of the Current leadership in state from implementing their plans to provide adequate security and dividends of democracy in the state, also warned the former Governor of the state not to repeat same mistakes he committed during the 2019 general elections.

The Federal High Court adjourned its hearing of the case until October 7th, a decision which further provoked the members of the Yari faction to steal the party Congress materials to cause confusion as part of the faction’s grand plans for Anti party activity in Zamfara state.
