A report reaching Accessweeklynews has it that, one of the gubernatorial aspirant in Zamfara State ahead of 2023 general election, Alh. Dauda Lawal Dare, has vowed to auction some major state assets if he is elected the Executive Governor of Zamfara State.
A source who plead anonymity said; “As I am speaking now, I feel that the good people of Zamfara State need to know these evil plans which is credited to Lawal Dare at this particular period when Zamfara State and the Northern Region Leaders are struggling to acquire more physical properties for the interest of the North”.
According to our source; “Among the State properties listed to be auctioned, is the newly renovated Zamfara State Liaison Office in Kaduna State, which Mr. Omoh Gubadia, a billionaire from Edo State, the ancestral home of Lawal Dare has declared his interest to buy.
In another development in Zamfara State political landscape, it was duely informed of a plan by the former APC National Chairman Adam Oshiomhole and Mr. Omoh Gubadia respectively, to support Lawal Dare to emerge victorious in the forth coming 2023 general elections.
Recall that about two months ago, the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice returned the sum of N9Billion to Lawal Dare, the money which was suspected to have belong to the former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari.
In the light of the above, it is imperative that Zamfara State people should wake up and take their destiny by their hands in order to reject any imposition of a man who has questionable conducts.
